The program is for serious ballet students, ages 10 and up. This training enables students to improve their skill level and technique, increase their strength, and move to the next class level. It is a 4 week program with 5 – 7 hours of class each day.
The program features _ Guest Teachers _ Classical Ballet Training in Pointe, Pas de Deux, Repertoire, Variation _ Boys’ Classes _ Character, Modern, Jazz, Acting, Make-Up, Stretch Pilates _ End of Intensive performances to showcase what students have learned during the summer.
Olga Mekhonoshina was born in Kudymkar,Russia. She received her ballet training and graduated from the renowned Perm State Choreographic Academy in 1995.She immediately joined the well known Grigorovich Ballet Theatre under the direction of celebrated choreographer Yuri Grigorovich.Olga performed in many classical ballet including Romeo and Juliet,Golden Age,Spartacus and Raymonda.
In 2002 Olga joined the Sarasota Ballet of Florida under direction Robert de Warren.
In 2009 Olga joined the faculty of the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida as Ballet Mistress and Ballet Teacher at Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet in Miami.
In 2011 Olga was named jury for the First International Ballet Competition in Caracas,Venezuela. The same year she participated at the Eighth International Young Dancers Festival in Miami. In January of 2013 and 2014 Olga presented Arts Ballet Theater of Florida in Lima,Peru. She gave an intensive ballet course to young dancers that was based on Vaganova Syllabus. Olga continues teaching in Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.

These class auditions are made by calling the school for an appointment at 941-962-6664 or 941-359-1023. Students unable to attend any auditions, may submit a video, 10 min. maximum. It should include barre work: tendu and adagio, and centre work including adagio, pirouette, petite allegro and grande allegro. For women who have had at least one year of pointe, pointe work should also be included. All audition fees are $20. If accepted, students will be required to pay the registration fee and one week’s tuition which is non-refundable deposit. Payment will be due by June 1st. No registration fee will be accepted without a deposit.
PRE – BALLET CLASSES Friday, June 15- July 31, 10:00-10:45, (age 3-6) $15 per class.
Children’s Ballet Camp This camp is for boys and girls, ages 5-9. Classes will include a 1-2.5 hr. ballet class, as well as classes in jazz,lyrical, stretch, musical theatre, and art. Children will experience fun ways to express their emotions and tell stories through movement, song, and drawing. Attire: Girls will wear blue leotards, pink tights, pink slippers, and hair pulled in a bun. Boys will wear black shorts, white T shirts, and black slippers.

ADULT SUMMER CLASSES
The Adult Classes is offered to men and women of all levels from Beginner to Advanced. It gives the adult who has never had a class the opportunity to learn ballet. It gives those adults who have had training as children or teen-agers the chance to reconnect with their bodies’ abilty to move. Everyone is welcome and all students will receive individual attention. Students will experience an improvement in technique, an increase in strength and self-esteem, and have fun as well.
June 15 – July 3, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday $15 per class 12:00-1:30.
