School of Russian ballet is proud to present Sergey Sidorskiy as he reprises his role of the Nutcracker and the Nutcracker Prince in this year’s “Nutcracker” ballet. Mr. Sidorenko was born in Kiev Ukraine and performs at Tara’s Shevchenko National Opera and is Principal Dancer in the Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. He was trained at the Kiev State Choreographic School and has won many international competitions and awards. He was given the esteemed title “Honored Artist of the Ukraine”.
Ms. Pavlova is a Russian Prima ballerina, born in Moscow and trained at the famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She received a master’s degree in Education and Choreography from Moscow Academy of Professional Arts.She has won many top awards in international competitions, has toured all over the world, and her repertoire includes roles in over 50 classical and contemporary ballets. She is the subject of the inspiring biography “A Ballerina for our Time, Olga Pavlova” by Karen McDonough.
Olga Golitsa is a Prima Ballerina with the National Opera ballet of Ukraine. She graduated from Kiev State Choreographic School in 2006. That same year she joined The National Opera of Ukraine Taras Shevechenko. She has partnered with Sergey Sidorsky in many classical ballets.
Danced professionally after studying on full scholarships with American Ballet Theatre (New York), Miami City Ballet (Miami, FL), and Studio Maestro (New York). In June 2010 he was the Bronze Medal winner in the World Ballet Competition: and in June 2009 he was a finalist in The New York International Ballet Competition. Additionally, he was a semi-finalist in the renowned International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. He won Gold in the senior classical division of the Youth American Grand Prix semifinals in Torrington, CT. In 2007 he won the Gold Medal in the senior division of the Youth Dance Festival in New Jersey. Mr. Horne has danced leading roles with the Orlando Ballet.
